In 2024, Frankfurt, along with nine other German cities, will host the tournament with 24 European national teams.

"Football and Frankfurt - they go together like Ebbelwei and Geripptes," said Mayor Peter Feldmann.

“We were the venue for four major tournaments, and world champions celebrated their victory on our Roman balcony.

We look forward to welcoming teams and fans from all over Europe as a city in the middle of Europe in 2024. "

Not surprisingly, the logo unites the European Championship trophy with the Frankfurt Römer.

In addition, the city's slogan is on the logo: “Gude Europa!

We look forward to you and EURO 2024 ”.

The words can be admired until midnight on info screens and station videos in downtown Frankfurt.

The logo presentation, which took place at the appropriate time at 8:24 p.m. in all European Championship cities at the same time as the Uefa tournament logo was presented in Berlin, also set the starting signal for the next three years of preparation for the third largest major sporting event in the world.

Sports director Mike Josef was present as Frankfurt's representative at the Berlin ceremony, where the tournament slogan "United by football - United in the heart of Europe" was presented at the same time.

All ten German EM host cities have their own logos for the tournament.

The brand symbol shows the Brandenburg Gate for Berlin, the cathedral for Cologne, the Monument to the Battle of the Nations for Leipzig and the Frauenkirche for Munich.

The 17th European Football Championship is to be held in the summer of 2024 with 24 participating nations in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, Düsseldorf, Leipzig and Stuttgart.

The final draw is to take place in December 2023 in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
