The sleeping Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal has been at the forefront of the search engines since yesterday until now, after Princess Rima bint Talal published a video clip from inside her brother’s room in the hospital, while he was sleeping and on respirators, and above it a green cover and written on it “Home is in our hearts.” It bears the flag of Saudi Arabia, and in the background of the video is the music of the Kingdom’s national anthem, as a kind of celebration of the 91st Saudi National Day.
Prince Rima, the sister of Sleeping Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal, commented on the video clip through her official account on "Twitter", saying: "My beloved, may God protect you, heal you, and restore you."
The sleeping Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal, is a Saudi prince from the famous Talal family. In 2005, while studying at the Military College, he was involved in a traffic accident, causing him to bleed severely in the head, after which he fell into a coma.
Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal was called the “sleeping prince”, because he had been in a coma for a long time, and his family did not reveal the hospital in which he is located or the details of his exact health condition. In order to control the brain hemorrhage and save him to no avail, as he has been in a coma ever since.

His father, Prince Khaled bin Talal, through his account on the micro-blogging site Twitter, is keen to share with his followers many videos that reveal his son's condition, and every time he reveals the sleeping prince moving his hand or fingers.
At the beginning of the accident, the sleeping prince did not move any of his limbs for three years, but he is still alive and yet his father and family have not lost hope of his coming back to life again.
Saudi press reports say that in 2017, the sleeping prince experienced a sudden deterioration in his health, after nearly 11 years of stability, after suffering a sudden bleeding in the lung, but his condition returned to stability again.
With each video published by his father, Prince Khaled, a question is asked about the main reason for not removing the medical devices from the sleeping prince, to confirm on his part the father, saying that until this moment he is completely convinced that God has written for him a new life after the painful accident, and if he wants his son to die. He would have died after the accident.
Last year, his sister posted a video of him responding to doctor's orders and moving his hands, giving the family hope for a full recovery.
