Representative Jang Je-won of People's Power announced today (28th) that he will resign from the post of former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, the head of the Camp General Situation Office.

It is related to the case in which his son, rapper Yong-jun (21, stage name Noel), was charged with assaulting a police officer who asked for a breathalyzer while driving without a license on the 18th.

Rep. Jang wrote on social media today, "It was hard to hold on for even a minute." "I'm sorry and sorry, but in the end I couldn't get the candidate's permission and I resigned as the camp general manager."

"I decided that it would be more helpful for the candidate to resign," he said.

Rep. Jang expressed his resignation to former President Yoon several times immediately after the controversy over his son, but it is said that former President Yoon rejected this because it was a matter of personal deviation from his adult son.

Rep. Jang said, "A wife who spends her days in tears, a mother who can't even eat properly. The family is in ruins. Now, I will take a time of self-reflection while deeply reflecting on the sins of my father who raised his children wrong."

He added, "I am an ugly son (Yongjun) who committed a crime, but I will faithfully fulfill the role of a father that I have not been able to do before."

"The people have no respect for the people, and there is no way I can control my feelings of apologizing to Candidate Yoon," said Rep. Jang.
