The gendarmes of Ploërmel (Morbihan) intervened on Sunday evening, around 11 p.m., for an altercation that occurred against a background of alcohol in a house in the town of Caro, reports

There, they found two individuals who had just exchanged violent blows.
One of them, seriously injured, was rushed to hospital.
In his 40s, he died of his injuries.
The other protagonist, in his twenties, was arrested and taken into custody.
He was still heard by the Ploërmel gendarmerie research brigade on Monday.
The Vannes prosecutor's office was seized of the case.
