At the national examination site for selecting teachers for public schools in India, cheating using 'high-tech' has emerged.

According to foreign media such as NDTV in India on the 27th local time, one examinee wearing strange slippers was caught by the supervisor during the exam held in Ajmer, Rajasthan, in northwestern Rajasthan on the 26th.

When the suspicious slipper sole was torn off, a cell phone and a Bluetooth device popped out from inside.

The test taker was listening to the test answer from outside through the Bluetooth device he wore.

Rajasthan Police, who received the report, arrested four more test takers who were taking the test at the same time and at another location.

All of them were cheating while wearing 'Bluetooth Slippers'.

Police believe that it is unlikely that they were planning a thorough cheating by colluding with each other.

Rather, we identified a small business that makes and sells Bluetooth slippers and even helps with cheating.

In the course of the investigation, it was also revealed that an examinee paid 600,000 rupees (about 9.6 million won) to purchase the slippers in question.

"Fortunately, we found the first cheater not long after the start of the test," the police explained, "and we were able to catch all the cheaters by immediately reporting this to other local testing sites."

"In the future screening process, we plan to take measures to ensure that all examinees enter without wearing slippers, shoes, or socks," he said.

Netizens who saw the incident showed various reactions, such as "I can't believe that people who dream of becoming teachers of the future do this", "If even half of the effort they put into cheating was devoted to their studies, they would have passed."

This is a 'news pick'.
