"Hungary has dealt a blow to Ukrainian-Hungarian relations by excluding the Ukrainian gas pipeline from the scheme of gas supplies from Russia," Kuleba is quoted as saying by TASS.

According to him, Ukraine "must respond to this blow accordingly."

The minister added that it is possible to cancel the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, which, according to him, is the main body of bilateral cooperation.

“We will take other steps to protect the national interests of Ukraine in this situation,” concluded Kuleba.

Earlier, Hungary signed a new long-term contract with Gazprom for the supply of gas bypassing Ukraine.
