Mohamed bin Zayed receives the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received today, at Al Shati Palace, His Excellency Mohammed Al Halbousi, Speaker of the Parliament of the brotherly Republic of Iraq.

His Highness and His Excellency Mohammed Al-Halbousi discussed during the meeting the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop cooperation and joint coordination, especially in the parliamentary fields.

The meeting dealt with the importance of enhancing the role of Arab parliaments in adopting the issues of their peoples and achieving their interests and aspirations for development, progress and prosperity, in addition to their role in consolidating effective Arab solidarity to face the common challenges witnessed in the region.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Airports, His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Chairman of the Federal National Council, and His Excellency Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security.

The meeting was also attended by the delegation accompanying the Iraqi parliament speaker.
