27 September 2021 After a 48-hour truce, the landings in Lampedusa have resumed. Five landings today on the largest of the Pelagias, where a total of 118 migrants arrived.

The first two sea carts led to the island respectively 6 and 36 Tunisians, including a woman and 2 unaccompanied minors. On the other hand, 37 other migrants rescued shortly afterwards are of sub-Saharan nationality: among them also 16 women and 4 accompanied minors. The last in order of time to reach Lampedusa were two groups of 28 (including a woman and 6 minors) and 11 Tunisians.

For all, after an initial health triage, the transfer to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district was arranged. The last arrivals on the island were registered last Friday when 130 migrants landed.
