"From September 27, Google will no longer support logging into accounts of Android devices with version 2.3.7 or lower," TASS writes with reference to Google's technical support service.

It is noted that this was done as part of efforts to preserve the safety of users.

The company warned that when trying to log into their accounts with an old version of the OS, people will face an error when entering a password and will not be able to use their e-mail, their YouTube accounts, or cards.

The company encourages everyone using the old Android firmware to update the system to version 3.0 or higher.
