The law was supported by both chambers of the Czech parliament. 

According to the text of the document, only companies from the states participating in the 1996 Agreement on public procurement under the auspices of the WTO can be involved in the construction and maintenance of the power unit.

At the same time, Russia and China do not belong to this list.

In April, Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Karel Havlicek announced that Rosatom would not participate in the tender for the completion of the Dukovany nuclear power plant.

Rosatom called this decision of the Czech Republic a non-market one.
