Large-scale exercises of airborne troops began in Crimea

This was reported by Interfax with reference to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The exercises of the airborne assault and artillery regiments of the Novorossiysk Guards airborne assault mountain formation of the Airborne Forces will be held at the Opuk training ground in the east of the peninsula.

The maneuvers will last three days.

Earlier it was reported that about 20 ships of the Black Sea Fleet are returning to their places of deployment after joint exercises of the Crimean and Novorossiysk naval bases.
