On September 27, local time, farmers’ organizations in India launched a nationwide protest and continued to express their dissatisfaction with the three farmers’ bills introduced by the government.

Farmers demand the revocation of the three agricultural laws. They worry that these laws will give some private companies the right to control the prices of agricultural products, and farmers will be completely controlled by the agricultural oligarchs in terms of product pricing.

The protests on September 27 consisted of more than 40 peasant unions, and the protests lasted from 6 am to 16:00.

Protesting farmers blocked some roads and railways in and out of New Delhi, traffic jams were severe, 25 trains were affected, and New Delhi police and paramilitary forces inspected all vehicles entering and leaving the capital.

Organizers called on governments and private institutions across the country to close their doors in response to their protests.

Demonstrators said that emergency services will not be affected.
