In addition, regarding future plans, Zhu Lilun said that the Kuomintang should start from the grassroots and "cannot be locked in an air-conditioned room every day."

In the next two days, he will also hold talks with Jiang Qichen and make a handover.

  On September 25, the Chinese Kuomintang held a party chairman election. Zhu Lilun received 85.164 votes, with a vote rate of 45.78%, and was elected as the new chairman of the Kuomintang party.

The other three candidates received 60,632 votes from Zhang Yazhong, 35090 votes from Jiang Qichen, and 5,133 votes from Zhuo Boyuan.
