Two individuals have just been sentenced in immediate appearance to fifteen months in prison, six of which are closed by the court in Libourne (Gironde), for endangering the lives of others, damage and theft.

They had been arrested on September 16 by the gendarmerie, for a series of throwing objects on the road from bridges committed this summer.

They committed 18 acts endangering the life of others

Last July, the gendarmes were informed by the departmental road center of Libourne of the throwing of various objects from bridges overhanging the D2089, in the town of Génissac (Gironde).

A dozen facts are identified, and other similar cases occur during the month of August.

Acts which did not cause injuries, but still produced three traffic accidents, "with significant damage to the vehicles" specifies the gendarmerie.

Seized of the investigation, the soldiers identify a first individual implicated in the facts, then confuse a second suspect.

The two men were arrested on September 16.

In total, they committed 18 acts endangering the life of others, 14 thefts and 5 damages.
