Last week, the

investigation site released
part of the French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA) report on the Nice Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), which had remained confidential until now.
For the Anticor06 association, the "management [of the institution] would reveal very possible misappropriation of public funds, conflicts of interest, influence peddling, favoritism offenses and non-compliance with public contracts".
Anticor06 announces that it "will seize in the coming days the public prosecutor of Nice
just as it has recently done concerning three port files on the Côte d'Azur in which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is cited ”.
The CCI ensures that it will collaborate with justice "in full transparency"
In a press release, she specifies the importance of making this kind of report public and accuses the president of the institution, Jean-Pierre Savarino, of not having done so.
“Ethics and professional conduct should have led him to make another choice.
[…] Jean-Pierre Savarino will stand for election next month to succeed himself, everyone will understand why he preferred to be discreet about its content, ”she writes.
