After Brexit, the shortage of truck drivers has caused difficulties in transporting refined gasoline from refineries to gas stations.

On September 24, local time, there was a long fleet of cars in front of gas stations across the UK. Hundreds of drivers rushed to fill up their fuel tanks because of concerns about fuel shortages.

Some gas stations in the UK have been short of gas and closed down, while many others lack at least one brand of fuel.

Among the 1,200 gas stations operated by BP, about 20 are temporarily closed. Exxon Mobil Corporation of the United States also stated that some gas stations have been affected.

From January 1, 2021, the UK will withdraw from the European Single Market and Customs Union.

"Brexit" has made it difficult for truck drivers in other European countries to work in the UK, and the new crown epidemic has prevented novice drivers from obtaining qualifications.

The British truck industry estimates that there is a shortage of 90,000 truck drivers.
