Here, researchers at Umeå University test standup: "Want to make researchers more fun"

The event is organized by the science festival Forskarfredag.

Five researchers from Umeå University and SLU in Umeå have received help from the association for academic comedy clubs in Scotland.

The researchers had eight minutes to do stand-up comedy and tell about their work

- There is an image that a researcher is an old man in chemistry rock.

We want to show that researchers are ordinary people with unusually exciting jobs.

They can actually be great fun too, says Marianne Eik, coordinator and project manager at Curiosum at Umeå University, who arranges Research Friday Umeå.
