A patrol boat of the Maritime Service of the Civil Guard, while trying to identify a speedboat in which several people were traveling,
has suffered an incident this Friday with a boat of the Royal Navy
of the United Kingdom, which was maneuvering abruptly to interpose itself between the aforementioned boat and patrol boat.
This has been confirmed by sources from the Civil Guard to Europa Press, as Europasur has advanced, in an event that
took place at around 8.30 pm this Friday.
Part of the incident has gone viral in a video.
The events took place in Spanish waters near the bay of Algeciras.
The Royal Navy boat was joined by a Gibraltar Customs boat, which supported the British Navy with its maneuvers.
The incident ended in waters out of dispute
, when the Gibraltarian vessels ceased their maneuvers.
At that time, the Civil Guard boat was able to identify the rubber band crew, who were not carrying prohibited substances and they were the ones who recorded the video.
