A European massage session costs 50 thousand dirhams

The Dubai Court of Appeal upheld a three-year prison sentence and a fine of 50,000 dirhams against a gang consisting of six Africans (two men and four women) who, along with other fugitives, lured a European person through a page bearing the name and image of a "sexy" European girl on a social network.

One of the accused deceived him into giving him a massage, and when he went to the address that I specified for him, he was surprised by another woman. As soon as he entered, the gang members surrounded him and took from him 1000 dirhams in cash that he had in his possession, and assaulted him and threatened to kill him, and forced him to disclose confidential data for his bank cards and seized from them 49 thousand dirhams. The defendants were referred to the Public Prosecution and from there to the Criminal Court, which convicted them, and then the Court of Appeal.

The victim said in the investigations of the Public Prosecution that he went to a building in the Al-Rafa area in Dubai, to meet with a woman he met through the (Facebook) program to obtain a massage service, but when he arrived at the agreed-upon address with her and entered the apartment, he was surprised by an African woman, and asked her about the owner The picture that I agree with did not answer him.

He added that eight women, including the four accused, gathered on him and searched him, took off his clothes and beat him with their hands and shoes, and asked to provide him with the secret number of his bank card, but he refused. A plastic bag and strangled him, until he almost breathed, so he surrendered and disclosed the secret number of his credit card, so one of them went to the ATM and withdrew 49,000 dirhams, and they shared the amount among themselves and then let him go, pointing out that he informed the police who arrested the accused.

A Dubai Police witness said that as soon as the report was received, a research team was formed and three of the accused were identified through surveillance cameras, and they were arrested within five days of the communication, and the victim identified them, then the rest of the accused were tracked down and arrested two days later, and they all confessed to their crime.
