“The NTSB is sending an investigation team to investigate the Amtrak train derailment incident.
The team will be based in Great Falls, Montana, ”the statement said.
The passenger train incident between Seattle and Chicago took place in Liberty County, about 1 mile from Joplin.
Three people were killed, according to CBS News.
