“Gasoline prices jump in comparison with the beginning of August by 20%, then by 40%, there is no stability,” the drivers say.

There is also an increase in food prices due to the fact that most of the food comes from Iran and Pakistan, as well as the fall in the currency.

“Prices for flour increased by 30%, vegetables - by 50%, some cereals are difficult to find, as well as many necessary medicines,” the newspaper's interlocutors say.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov previously announced Moscow's intention to encourage the radical Taliban that has taken power in Afghanistan to behave in a more civilized manner.
