China News Service, Changchun, September 25 (Reporter Lu Shengnan) For Taiwanese merchant Mai Zhiming, the northeastern part of the mainland is no stranger. This is his fifth time to participate in the exhibition.

As always, the tea he brought sells well. Only during lunch breaks can he take a break and make himself a cup of tea.

The 13th China-Northeast Asia Expo is being held in Changchun, Jilin.

There are 104 booths in the Taiwan Commodity Pavilion set up at this expo, attracting 64 companies to participate in the exhibition.

Products from Taiwan, such as cultural and creative arts and crafts, jewellery, household goods, tea, food, souvenirs, etc., appeared in a concentrated manner.

During the lunch break, Mai Zhiming will first make a pot of tea for himself.

In order to participate in this expo, tea merchant Mai Zhiming set off from Taiwan in advance, and after 21 days of quarantine in Shanghai, he rushed to Changchun "northward".

"The main thing is to promote Taiwan's tea culture, so that the cultural interactions between the two sides of the strait are more frequent." Mai Zhiming not only promotes tea to customers, but also talks about tea culture.

Mai Zhiming's antique booth always leaves a hint of tea.

He told reporters that the tea culture on both sides of the Taiwan Strait is "same origin". He hopes that this exhibition will make more mainland friends and share more tea tasting experiences.

The reporter saw that this year Taiwanese merchants brought many exhibits, among which the handicrafts reflecting Taiwan's exquisite culture and creative products with humanized design are full of highlights.

Ye Junting, a Taiwanese businessman who participated in the Northeast Asia Expo for the first time, brought dozens of colorful jade wares, which were deeply loved by customers.

"This pair of colorful jade vases worth nearly 200,000 yuan, I want to find an owner here." Ye Junting had communicated with industry insiders many times before the exhibition and learned that colorful jade has a bright future in the Northeast market.

Therefore, he hopes to connect with local agents through this expo.

"I have met a lot of new friends from mainland China in the past few days, and I feel that this visit is very worthwhile. I look forward to having the opportunity to return here (to develop the market)." Ye Junting said with a smile.
