On Saturday afternoon, September 25, an unusual incident occurred in the north of Moscow.
According to eyewitnesses, a man dressed in a woman's dress attacked visitors to a store in the Otradnoye district with an ax.
As a result, two people were injured and hospitalized, the attacker was arrested.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the duty unit received a message through service 02 that a man with an ax in his hands entered the store at 14 Kargopolskaya Street and attacked the visitors.
“The officers of the police patrol service who promptly arrived at the scene of the incident detained a 48-year-old suspect in the store, who, according to preliminary data, inflicted several injuries on two citizens.
The injured were hospitalized in a medical institution, ”the police said.
According to a source of the TASS agency, the detainee is registered in a neuropsychiatric dispensary, and the conflict could have flared up on domestic grounds - the buyers simply did not share the grocery cart.
A video of the incident published in the media shows that the attacker, dressed in a long dress, first entered into a skirmish with a supermarket visitor.
After a while, he took an ax out of his bag and attacked the woman and the man standing next to her.
Director of the Center for Practical Psychology Sergei Klyuchnikov, in an interview with RT, gave advice on how to behave in such a situation.
According to him, it is worth entering into a dialogue with aggressive people only in exceptional cases.
“If you meet some clearly aggressive person, you see that he has a weapon, it is possible to enter into some kind of dialogue with him only if you do not have the opportunity to run away or step aside.
Or if you are an experienced martial artist, representative of power structures, and so on.
Otherwise, it is better to try, firstly, not to meet his eyes, to move away quickly, but not to run.
Because in this case, the instinct is triggered if he notices the fleeing "game", like a hunter, and can attack you, "said the psychologist.
He added that it is better to quickly move away from a potential aggressor and try to report to law enforcement agencies, convey information to security and warn people.
“But one must distinguish: if they are robbers, they usually order everyone to lie down on the floor.
In this case, it is best to obey their commands.
And if this is an aggressive loner who is looking for an opportunity to release his aggression, and you are clearly weaker than him, then it is better, of course, to try to save your life, to avoid direct contact and collision, "Klyuchnikov stressed.
In mid-September, a similar incident occurred in Serpukhov, near Moscow, when an ax, a pistol-like object, was used as arguments during a road conflict.
As reported by the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a 39-year-old woman told the duty station that she had a conflict with a truck driver on the M-2 "Crimea" highway, as a result of which he broke the windshield of her car.
The truck driver filed a counter statement, in which he said that during the conflict, another man and a woman reporting the conflict threatened him with an ax and, presumably, a pistol, and eventually sprinkled in his face from a gas can - the driver went to the hospital with a corneal burn.
According to video footage of the incident that appeared in the media, the truck prevented the SUV from driving around the roadside traffic jam.
And at the beginning of the month, a man with an ax attacked police officers in a village in the Orenburg region.
The attacker illegally entered the house of the neighbors, but then returned to his home.
When the police arrived at his house, he took an ax in his hands and began to threaten the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As a result, he was detained and taken to the police station.
