In the United States, a woman was arrested while driving her car with her young daughter dangling from the car to stop her drunk driving.

On the 21st local time, foreign media such as Fox News reported that 44-year-old Erin Garcia from Orange County, California, has been charged with drunk driving, neglecting children's dangers, and assaulting the police.

According to reports, Garcia got out of her mother's house in Placentia, Orange County on the night of the 16th and was intoxicated while trying to get behind the wheel.

Garcia's 8-year-old daughter, worried about her drinking mother, followed after her, grabbing the back seat handle and telling her to stop driving.

However, when Garcia saw that her daughter was holding the steering wheel, she stepped on the accelerator.

The daughter was dragged about 90 m while hanging from the car.

A passerby who saw the sight stopped the car and tried to get Garcia out of the driver's seat, but Garcia stepped on the accelerator and ran away.

Garcia was later arrested while hiding in the bushes in her mother's backyard.

He was reported to have shown violent behavior, including kicking a police officer during the arrest.

Garcia was placed on bail of $100,000 and held in Orange County Jail.

Garcia's daughter, who was towed by the car, was taken to the hospital, but it is known that there is no life-threatening injury except for her knee and leg.
