Dohuk -

Do not be surprised if you hear one day about the existence of a village whose residents all work in raising livestock, clinging to the inheritance of parents and grandparents, and it is forbidden to live in it for those who refuse this profession.

It is the village of "Ras al-Ain" in the district of Aqrah in the Dohuk governorate in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and the number of its homes exceeds 100, and the number of livestock in it is more than 7,000 heads.

The people of the village are distinguished for preserving customs and traditions, including working in livestock breeding and trading, and this is what made it a distinct and unique village compared to other villages.

In the village there are many people who work in various governmental or civil jobs, but they also work in raising livestock.
