The joint speech session for the Jeonnam-Gwangju regional primary election for the Democratic Party's presidential candidates started on the afternoon of the 25th at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju.
The runners-up in the contest entered the official announcement in the order of candidates Lee Jae-myung, Kim Doo-kwan, Park Yong-jin, Lee Nak-yeon, and Chu Mi-ae.
As soon as the runners' speeches are finished, the Democratic Party will start counting votes for local rights party members and delegates previously conducted online and ARS, as well as today's on-site national and general party member votes.
Counting results are expected to be announced around 6pm.
