The U.S. government's special envoy in charge of Haiti is "inhuman" over the deportation of people from Haiti, one of the poorest Caribbean island nations, by the U.S. border security authorities. As such, the situation is such that the protest will be resigned.

Del Rio, the border area with Mexico in Texas in the southern United States, has recently been crowded with people from Haiti and other countries who wish to apply for refugee status.

Border security officials in the United States have decided to deport them, and since 19th of this month, more than 1,400 have been reportedly sent back to Haiti by air.

Under these circumstances, the US State Department announced on the 23rd that Mr. Foot, a special envoy in charge of Haiti, has resigned.

In his resignation to Secretary of State Blinken, Mr. Foot said, "I am not involved in the inhuman and unproductive decision to deport large numbers of refugees and illegal immigrants from Haiti. I am not involved in the collapsed state of Haiti. Has failed to provide safety and basic services to the public, "he strongly protests against deportation.

Haiti, one of the poorest countries, has been in a state of instability, with more than 2,000 people killed in a major earthquake last month following the assassination of the president in July.

There is growing criticism over this issue as a video of a horse-riding border guard swinging his reins and threatening people on the southern Texas border has spread on social media.
