ASM Clermont formalized on Friday the recruitment as medical joker of French winger Marvin O'Connor, international rugby sevens for two years, who will be able to face Toulouse in a match of the 4th day of Top 14, Sunday.
The agreement is for a period of six months.
The player, trained in Grenoble but who continued his career at XV in Bayonne, Montpellier and at the French Stadium, has been training with ASM for two weeks.
The Auvergne club was waiting for a letter of exit from the French Federation to validate the signing of the contract.
O'Connor, aged 30, replaces in the Clermont staff Samuel Ezeala, victim of a disinsertion behind a thigh, made against Lyon during a friendly match in Issoire.
Ezeala's absence is estimated to be between six and eight months.
