The year before, the figure was 1312, which is a steady increase since 2017 when a total of 775 events were reported.

At the same time, a survey from Akademikerförbundet SSR shows that threats and fears can lead to social secretaries avoiding intervening according to LVU.

"Do not always report to the police"

SVT Uppsala has been in contact with a social secretary who has been involved in several threatening events.

- You do not always report it to the police, because then you have to state your name, social security number and address.
