It was around 08.30 on Friday morning that Linnea committed civil disobedience by sitting straight down on the road outside the town hall in central Luleå.

When SVT Norrbotten left the place around 10.00, she was still there.

The 17-year-old represents Extinction Rebellion and the Field Biologists and protests that the adult world is not acting sufficiently around the climate crisis.

- My future is basically already ruined, so I resort to civil disobedience, she says.

On Friday afternoon, the event Fridays For Future, which is part of a global climate strike, will also be held in Luleå.

In Sweden, the demonstration wants to draw attention to deforestation and Sami rights.
