The two-hour activity with a focus on physical activity was held with school children also in the rest of Sweden and in all EU countries.

In the schoolyard in Marieberg, the children could try out games, obstacle courses and various forms of circus arts.

The association life was represented in the form of a floorball association and the gliding club.

Karin Modin, project manager and public health coordinator at RF-SISU Örebro.

- Yes, they do not really fly today, of course.

But they talk about their business and try to attract.

It is also a sport in the sports family, says Tina Modin.

Research shows, according to RF-SISU, that only 44% of boys and 22% of girls reach the recommended level of 60 minutes of physical activity a day.

Bridge construction for an active life

The purpose of the event, which was arranged for the fifth year, is to build bridges between the school, the children and the sports movement.

According to Tina, it is extra important right now, when the pandemic hopefully culminated and the association life needs support to get started.

The goal is for more people to be able and willing to play sports throughout their lives, even the children who are least active today.

But even adult children may need to get started.

- Regardless of age, we need to move every day.

You do not have to think in terms that you need to go and train, but take that lunch walk, Tina Modin concludes.
