France: the hunt for false health passes is increasing

The health pass has become a popular document for anti-vaccines.

According to a report published by the Health Insurance, several thousand false documents are in circulation and an investigation is opened against caregivers suspected of fraud.

Several thousand suspected cases are currently under investigation and hundreds of procedures are initiated by the National Health Insurance Fund.

In the body's viewfinder, there are first caregivers suspected of fraud.

Out of nearly 350 procedures opened so far, 270 actually concern health professionals.

They are suspected of having provided false certificates for money.

As for the beneficiaries of these false documents, there are currently 36,000 who hold a false sesame to access places where the medical pass is required.

Between 150 and 400 euros

The phenomenon that appeared as soon as this health control was put in place accelerated this summer.

Under the cloak or via social networks, real-false health passes issued by real health professionals are sold on average between 150 and 400 euros.

The risk incurred by these caregivers can go up to 5 years in prison and a fine of 150,000 euros.

As for users, they risk spending three years behind bars and a fine of 45,000 euros.
