At the meeting, the executive heads of the Pan-Pearl River Delta "9+2" parties focused on "sharing opportunities such as the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle, strengthening the linkage of major national strategic deployments in the region," and "coordinating to promote the stability and smooth flow of the industrial chain supply chain, and promote domestic Interactive discussions were held on topics such as the international double cycle, “high-level joint construction of a new land-sea channel in the west, and deepening of the two-way opening of land and sea”.
The meeting emphasized that all parties to the Pan-Pearl River Delta "9+2" will implement major strategic measures to build a new development pattern, and continue to strengthen the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle, and the new land-sea corridor in the west. And other major strategic linkages, radiate to drive the development of the Pan-Pearl River Delta region, steadily promote the construction of various agreed matters and key cooperation projects of the joint executive heads, promote cross-provincial cooperation in various fields to a new level, and promote Pan-Pearl River Delta regional services and integration into new development pattern.
At the meeting, the executive heads of the Pan-Pearl River Delta "9+2" parties voted to sign the "Minutes of the 2021 Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Cooperation Executive Heads Joint Meeting" and jointly determined seven annual key tasks: First, promote major strategic linkages in the region. Coordinately build a new development pattern; the second is to jointly promote the construction of a regional cooperation platform, and coordinate the development of the East, China, and the West; the third is to strengthen the interconnection of infrastructure and build a modern integrated transportation system; the fourth is to build a regionally coordinated modern industrial system and innovation system, Work together to promote the supporting cooperation of the industrial chain and supply chain; the fifth is to strengthen the construction of market integration; the sixth is to jointly promote the construction of regional ecological civilization and environmental protection cooperation; the seventh is to promote cooperation in the fields of government services and social undertakings.
Witnessed by the executive heads of all parties in the Pan-Pearl River Delta, the nine provinces and autonomous regions of the Pan-Pearl River Delta jointly signed a framework agreement for cooperation on "cross-provincial administration" of government services.
