A cost assessment has been made for the renovation of both bathhouses in Vetlanda municipality, renovation is something the municipality considers necessary for the next 20 years.
One of the alternatives is to build a new bathhouse.
- We hope to be finished with the investigation in December this year, says Elin Petersson, construction project manager.
In addition to costs, it must be investigated what the school, association life and rescue service need.
A bathhouse can be dismantled
The preconditions for both alternatives are that the swimming pool parts in Myrsjö swimming and sports hall will be closed down.
The swimming pool consists of a 25-meter pool, a teaching pool and a paddling pool for small children.
However, the gym and gym are retained.
- We will investigate the basic alternatives and present a basis with different consequences.
We will talk to the businesses to hear what their wishes and needs are.
In parallel with the investigation, we are working to produce quotes on the renovation of the old ones, says Elin Petersson.
