Two people have been killed in a new shooting at a supermarket in the
United States,
this time on the outskirts of the city of
Memphis,
in
Tennessee.
The incident, in which there were also twelve injuries, according to the authorities, took place at 2:30 in the afternoon - 8:30 at night in
Spain
- when a person indiscriminately fired into a supermarket of the
Kroger
chain
,
reaching thirteen people, one of whom died before the assailant committed suicide.
These types of acts that combine murder and suicide are relatively common in the United States, and, in fact, it has caused an unusually low number of deaths.
On March 22, a man named
Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa
murdered six people in another supermarket in the city of Boulder, Colorado.
That incident caused the state of Colorado to tighten the rules for the possession of semi-automatic weapons, which sometimes have a firepower similar to that used by the
Armed Forces
in their combat missions.
