SEHA qualifies the sons and daughters of the Emirates to lead its facilities

The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) announced its intention to qualify a group of Emirati sons and daughters to occupy leadership positions in its facilities, especially the management of its hospitals.

The Director of Madinat Zayed Hospital, Saeed Mohammed Al Mazrouei, called on young people to take advantage of the professional opportunities that are available to them, and to redouble their interest in their working lives.

He stressed that professional success is a series of experiences and continuous learning, calling for continuing work to gain more practical experience.

SEHA provided Saeed Al Mazrouei with all capabilities, attached him to several training courses to develop his skills and experience, and encouraged him by increasing the tasks entrusted to him, which gave him more confidence.

He began his career in the health sector, as an administrative officer in the Administrative Affairs Department in 1996, and became director of the Preventive Medicine Department in 2002, which increased his leadership skills and gave him the opportunity to join Madinat Zayed Hospital, in 2007, as a senior official for public services. In 2014, he became director of the operations department in the same hospital, in addition to the duties of the hospital’s acting director, to gain more experience and improve his leadership skills, and in 2016 he was promoted to the position of acting hospital director, and then to director of the hospital in 2019.

Al Mazrouei led the transformation of Madinat Zayed Hospital into a level III hospital.

He was also keen to provide many medical specialties in the hospital, to provide high-quality health care to the people of the Al Dhafra region.

He is currently responsible for managing, supervising and following up on all departments of Madinat Zayed Hospital. He sets goals, objectives and work plan, in line with the SEHA policy framework, and delegates responsibilities and supervises the work of managers.

Under his leadership, the hospital has achieved many accomplishments, most notably the re-accreditation of the Joint Commission International (JCI) with the highest score ever within the “SEHA” network. International recognition, quality, excellence and transformational projects, a certificate of excellence in the field of annual performance indicators results - hospital performance and financial effectiveness, and the International Business Excellence Award 2018 (3rd place) for a physician productivity innovation project.
