The MSD party, whose two main leaders have been accused of leading a group of terrorists responsible for numerous attacks and other grenades, reacted by denying any involvement in crimes "

 contrary to its political philosophy

 ".

The Burundian authorities want to present them as the leaders of the rebel group RED-Tabara, the most active on Burundian soil.

For years, Gitega had contented himself with simple allusions to the role

he attributed to Alexis Sinduhije

at the head of the rebel group RED-Tabara, which he now qualifies as a “

band of terrorists

”. But this time he had to react, after

this series of attacks

that have spread throughout this weekend, while President Évariste Ndayishimiye was on his way to New York where he is participating in the General Assembly of the 'UN.

The Burundian power, which ensures all day long that "

the security situation is totally under control, has been shaken by this series of violent acts

It must be said in the opinion of specialists, that flaws have appeared in the presidential camp since the accession to power of General Évariste Ndayishimiye, who is trying to reform the system in power.

Some believe that the hard-line camp is responsible for some of the violence observed over the past year.

In 2015, I was accused of being a coup leader.

I have already been given arrest warrants and then recently I was sentenced to life imprisonment.

I believe this is a purely political question.
