It was at the beginning of September that the County Administrative Board was able to establish that at least 150 people were in the premises, despite the fact that no more than 50 people were allowed to be there at the same time.

The County Administrative Board is now applying to impose a fine of SEK 200,000 on the property owner, and believes that it has previously warned the owner about the rules.

"Risk being exposed to threats"

The property owner of the premises, FKA Invest in Södertälje, believes, however, that they have nothing to do with the business or the party.

The application states that it is impossible for them as a landlord on the same day to ensure that no more than 50 people come to a wedding arranged by a tenant.

"What the County Administrative Board wants you to do is both physically impossible and that you commit a breach of contract against your tenant and risk being exposed to threats and dangers," the statement says.

SVT Nyheter Södertälje has contacted the Property Owner for a comment.
