In the replacement debate, three politicians in particular have been highlighted: Christian Orsing, chair of the city planning committee, regional councilor Anna Jähnke and Julia Leliévre, chair of the social committee.
But more names are also being discussed when SVT Helsingborg calls a number of heavy and experienced M politicians in the municipality to ask who will be Peter Danielsson's successor.
One such name is Richard Lundberg, chairman of the labor market committee.

And some of the heavy moderates that SVT Helsingborg spoke to generally talk about "more possible"
But Anna Jähnke says no.
- I thrive in the region and am happy to continue in the position as regional councilor, she says.
Richard Lundberg also says no.
The hottest candidates
Christian Orsing and Julia Leliévre are currently the hottest candidates.
But they say neither yes nor no to succeeding Peter Danielsson.
- The internal election process must be open and unaffected, says Julia Leliévre.
Christian Orsing has been Peter Danielsson's pair horse in politics for many years.
- We have a good gang within the Moderates, which is a prerequisite for my continued commitment.
This means that there are several of us who can shoulder different roles.
How we as a team should man up is up to our members and voters, he says.
