The Federation Council spoke about a possible ban on the movement of the Russian delegation to PACE

According to him, the decision on the format of participation of senators in the PACE session has not yet been made.

Senators are awaiting full clarifications on the working conditions of the delegation in France.

“This is not a ban [on movement].

France has a regime for admitting non-citizens of the European Union, which naturally applies to Russia, ”TASS quotes him.

At the same time, he stated that the members of the delegation will in any case participate in the PACE session, "if not personally, then in a distance format for sure."

As RIA Novosti reports, Senator Vladimir Krugly said that the Russian delegation before the PACE session in Strasbourg received an order that its participants could "only move from the hotel to the Parliamentary Assembly building" due to the fact that the EU does not recognize vaccination against coronavirus by "Sputnik V ".

Earlier it was reported that the deputies of the State Duma of the VII convocation will be able to take part in the autumn session of PACE, since their parliamentary powers will still be preserved by the beginning of the session.
