“For the last month we have been vaccinating about 2 thousand people a day with the first component.

At the peak of our work in the middle of the summer, we vaccinated 10 to 12 thousand people.

Unfortunately, these rates could not be maintained solely as a result of the fact that the commitment of our residents to vaccination is now minimal, it does not exist, ”TASS quotes him.

According to the government of the Leningrad Region, a total of 561,260 people were vaccinated in the region.

As the head of the committee noted, 35.8% of the region's population were vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine.

According to him, 111 vaccination points are currently operating in the region.

Field work is also carried out.

“We see that the points are not overloaded, the vaccine supply is more than sufficient,” said Vylegzhanin.

Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, said that almost 40 million people in Russia had completed a full course of vaccination against coronavirus infection.
