Nearly 172 kg of herbal cannabis can represent for resale 1.7 million euros according to a customs estimate.

The 65-year-old driver, boss of a small transport company in his country, was tried on Wednesday at the Mulhouse criminal court.

At the bar, the defendant reaffirmed that he was unaware of the presence of these narcotics.
