This was reported to TASS at the embassy of the republic in Moscow.

“Currently, Russian citizens can travel to South Africa (the period of stay in South Africa is up to 90 days) in accordance with the visa-free travel rules of March 31, 2017, but on condition that the traveler provides a document with a negative PCR test, made no more than 72 hours before the trip, ”the diplomatic mission informed.

Otherwise, the tourist will be obliged to go through quarantine at his own expense.

"Please note that the final decision on entry, including the number of days allowed to stay in South Africa, is made by the immigration passport control officer at the point of entry," the embassy added.

Earlier it became known that Cuba intends to receive more tourists from Russia.
