Mohammed bin Rashid issues a law transferring the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee to the Human Resources Department

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, issued Law No. (17) of 2021 transferring the "Dubai Military Human Resources Committee" to the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, to be determined by the department in coordination with the Secretariat The General Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, the organizational level of that organizational unit, and the tasks and competencies assigned to it.

The law stipulates that all tasks and responsibilities entrusted to the committee and its general secretariat shall be transferred from the "Dubai Military Human Resources Committee" to the Dubai Government Human Resources Department under Law No. (6) of 2012 regarding the management of human resources for local military personnel working in the Emirate of Dubai and its amendments, and Resolution No. (2) ) for the year 2020 to adopt the internal regulations for the work of the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee, the legislation in force in the Emirate of Dubai, as well as the ownership of real estate, movables, assets, devices, equipment and funds belonging to the committee and its general secretariat.

Civil employees working for the General Secretariat of the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee on the date this law comes into force, as well as the financial allocations for the committee and its general secretariat from the Department of Finance in its annual budget, are also transferred to the Dubai Government Human Resources Department. To the Dubai Police, provided that the Government of Dubai Human Resources Department, in agreement with the Dubai Police, determines the associates who will be seconded to work with the department within a period not exceeding two weeks from the date this law comes into force, provided that the provisions of Law No. (6) apply to these associates seconded to work in the department ) for the year 2012 regarding the management of human resources for local military personnel working in the Emirate of Dubai. The Dubai Government Human Resources Department replaces the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee and its General Secretariat in all of their rights and obligations.

Cancellations

And pursuant to this law, Resolution No. 1 of 2016 regarding the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee, Resolution No. 2 of 2017 appointing the Chairman of the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee, and Resolution No. 3 of 2017 appointing the Secretary General of the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee, shall be repealed.

Resolution No. 5 of 2017 approving the list of incentives and rewards for the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee, Resolution No. 1 of 2020 restructuring the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee, and Resolution No. 2 of 2020 approving the internal regulations for the work of the Dubai Military Human Resources Committee. Any provision in any other legislation shall be repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of Law No. (17) of 2021 and shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall be enforced from the date of its publication.
