In total, during the period of the pandemic, 2,370,425 people fell ill in the country, 2,237,973 recovered, and 55,284 deaths.
Earlier, the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said that the Ministry of Health intends to introduce mandatory vaccination against coronavirus in the country for officials and employees of educational institutions.
In July, Vitaly Zverev, microbiologist, scientific director of the Mechnikov Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in an interview with URA.RU, emphasized the importance of achieving population immunity to coronavirus in the world.
