"Stop my body" is a term coined by Save the Children, which is about raising children's integrity and right to their own body.

Something the organization wants to contribute by making the subject talkable, both for children and adults.

Therefore, study material is now published available to everyone.

- By talking about the body, private parts of the body and emotions, it becomes easier for students to put words on the subject.

Hopefully they can then tell more spontaneously if something feels uncomfortable or unpleasant, says Emil Pedersen, teacher at the school.

The need is greater today

A major challenge that is being raised, both by the school and Save the Children, is the risk of grooming and being exposed online.

In step with this development, Emil Pedersen believes that there is a greater need for knowledge today.

At the same time, he points out that the work at the school is not only centered on this theme week, but that it is ongoing.

- It is important to talk to your children at home as well, not to settle for a yes or no.

Ask the children to develop and tell what they do online and show an interest, says Emil Pedersen.
