Foreign Ministers of Japan and South Korea discussed with Blinken the problem of denuclearization of the DPRK

This was reported by TASS with reference to the Japanese Foreign Ministry.

It is noted that the parties agreed "to work closely with the aim of carrying out the complete denuclearization of the DPRK and ensuring the implementation of UN resolutions prohibiting the development of ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons."

In addition, they discussed a number of international challenges, including developments in Myanmar.

Earlier, the UN announced its concern about missile launches on the Korean Peninsula.
