Education The Generalitat will make black lists of university professors who use Spanish in their classes
Constitutionalism has announced a battle against the Generalitat's plan to monitor teachers who teach classes in Spanish at the universities of Catalonia.
The leader of the PP in the community,
Alejandro Fernández
, has announced that his party will use "all legal mechanisms" to prevent "blacklists" of teachers in the Catalan university system.
"Now they only know how to resort to imposition, also priming themselves with the weakest: students and teachers. We will not tolerate it," he added.
Also the head of ranks of Citizens in the community,
Carlos Carrizosa
, has ensured that his formation "will continue to fight for a Catalonia without black lists."
"It is a scandal that shows how separatism, with its totalitarian practices, has become the greatest enemy of the Catalan."
"Universities must be freed from ideological impositions," added the leader of Vox in Catalonia,
Ignacio Garriga
, who has argued that "education should be one of the pillars of our society, not an indoctrination instrument in the hands of fanatics. "
