September 23, 2021 "I am very practical. I don't know what the word 'pact' means. The pact I would propose consists in making agreements and contracts that also recognize the value of work and that overcome the problem of precariousness. This is the theme that remains, we need to reaffirm equal rights for everyone in work ".

Thus

the leader of the CGIL, Maurizio Landini

, at the end of the public assembly of Confindustria at the Palasport in Rome.

"I have not heard a word about the multinationals that have made redundancies and are not retreating from their positions."

This is the comment of the secretary of the CGIL Maurizio Landini at the end of the Confindustria assembly which was attended by the president Carlo Bonomi and the Premier Mario Draghi.

"On this - Landini specified - there is a need for an intervention and that the government does not allow this patrimony to be dispersed, as well as a very important point for us regarding trade union relations is whether national employment contracts are strengthened or not. ". "I have not heard of how tax evasion is fought, - he added - in our country we have 120 billion of tax evasion, nor of pension reform. We demand that the government open a debate on these issues, including the reform on social safety nets and we are ready to do our part ".

"An important appeal by President Bonomi to the responsibility of each person to restart the country, putting work at the center, overcoming the bureaucratic delays and the vetoes of politics "

the general secretary of the CISL, Luigi Sbarra,

commenting on the report by the leader of the industrialists, Carlo Bonomi.

"And of course - he underlines - we share the proposal of the social pact which is the path indicated for a long time by the CISL to the Government and to businesses to tackle the issue of reforms and investments with cohesion and participation, starting with the theme of the NRP, security of the work, new industrial policies, the South, environmental and energy sustainability, social protections and active policies. We are ready for this challenge. And even on the subject of taxation, tariffs, the review of pensions, even on these issues, maximum sharing and consultation between the government and the social partners is needed. This is the right season for a great social pact capable of prioritizing growth and work, investment and participation, innovation and social cohesion ", concludes Sbarra.

"We answer Bonomi and President Draghi that we have never shirked, neither with respect to agreements nor with respect to confrontation. We are ready to do our part knowing that on work, security, taxation, pensions, relocations, energy transitions and industrial policies we probably see it differently from Confindustria, but we are ready to do our part on condition that Confindustria stops insulting ".

This was stated in Potenza by

the general secretary of UIL, Pierpaolo Bombardieri

, on the sidelines of the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of Feneal Uil.
