This was announced by US President Joe Biden.
"Today we are launching a partnership between the US and the EU on vaccines with the aim of working more closely together with our partners and expanding global vaccination," TASS quoted him as saying.
He noted that rich countries should donate, not sell, doses of the coronavirus vaccine to low-income countries.
Earlier, Biden said he had approved a new plan to scale up vaccination of the population.
